 Verb ‘to be’

The verb ‘to be’ is a kind of verb that is used to explain the sentence’s situations. It is mainly used in English sentences and it has many forms, depending on the subject. There are three types of situations where you may use the verb; positive, negative, and interrogative.

Positive

I	am	from Bali
He She It	is
We You They	are

Negative

For the negative type of the verb ‘to be’, you simply need to add ‘not’ after it.

Examples:

·         I am not from Bali.

·         He is not from Bali.

·         We are not from Bali.

Interrogative

Am	I	from Bali?
Is	She He It
Are	We You They

 At the end of every interrogative form, you need to add question mark (?).
